One of the frequent causes of gastritis is a poor diet. Sufficient knowledge about gastritis is essential for each individual because if left untreated, it can damage stomach function and increase the risk of developing cancer. This is the background to the Community Service (PkM) activities of the IKIFA STIKes lecturer team. The PkM activities were conducted on 26 February 2024 in the Duren Sawit Subdistrict area to educate about the cause of gastritis. The targets for PkM activities are residents from several RW areas in Duren Sawit Village, totaling 34 respondents. During the PkM activities, respondents actively participated in discussing the topics presented. Therefore, it can be concluded that this PkM activity was successful based on the objectives set at the beginning.
2024-12-04T11:46:34+00:00Copyright (c) 2024 Jurnal Pengabdian IKIFAhttps://epik.ikifa.ac.id/index.php/jpi/article/view/150SOSIALISASI PEMBUATAN BODY MIST EKSTRAK MELON (Curcumis melo L) SEBAGAI ANTIOKSIDAN DI SMAN PASUNDAN 1 CIMAHI2024-12-06T01:56:50+00:00Erika Cantikacantikae10@gmail.comRizky Permanapermanarizky885@gmail.comCindy Putri Aprilianicindyputri650@gmail.comErliyana Herawati Guslimarerliyanaheraa@gmail.comAyu Winda Nurfauziyaherliyanaheraa@gmail.comTanti Jumiantitantijumianti71@gmail.comRaffles Yoandri Naskatarafflesnaskata@gmail.comSharen Rizky Adrianasharen.rzkydrn14@gmail.com
Introduction Free radicals originate from metabolic processes within the body (endogenous), such as protein, carbohydrates, and fats in mitochondria, inflammation or inflammatory processes, iron-mediated reactions, etc. Additionally, free radicals can originate from outside the body (exogenous), for example, from cigarette smoke, pollution, radiation, UV rays, drugs, pesticides, industrial waste, and ozone.
